I think a very important email was automatically deleted in Spam. I can't contact the sender. Can I find out?

This a very important reply to my message, but I cannot ask my sender if they responded. One response would have taken place in February, one possibly in February or March. I'm afraid it came in through spam and was just deleted without my even knowing it was sent. I need to know if there is a way to "undelete" and retrieve this message. Any info with be very much appreciated. Thank You!

Probably not. But maybe you could write this person and say that you have had porblems with your email and everything was deleted.
Reply:Once a message has been deleted, it is gone forever, unless you have specific software to retrieve it. If you think it was a message that went to spam, always check your spam to make sure there is not something in there you want to keep - check mark and click on 'Not spam.' Make sure your spam is in the box for a time period long enough for you to check them.


Look for the 'Options' link at upper right corner of mail screen and click on it

make sure spam guard is on, check the length of time in box, then click on save changes.


As far as getting that particular E-mail back, you can also ask the contact if they can send it again.

Once a message is deleted from the inbox...send...trash folders they are gone forever as far as yahoo is concerned....

i don't know how long you keep your spam for, but you can check it by clicking on OPTIONS....MAIL OPTIONS...SPAM PROTECTION..Once in Spam Protection check the line Save these messages in the Spam Folder....You have an option of one week...two weeks...or one month...that way you can have the option of viewing what is in there prior to their automatic deletion by yahoo.
