I received a spam email that said it was from my account?

if I mark the mail as spam and delete it, will it effect my ability to send email?

I received a spam email that said it was from my account?
This happened to me a few months ago, too.


I was getting a lot of spam every day from my own Yahoo email account.


I tried everything I could think of and even contacted Yahoo about it but nothing did any good and Yahoo would not bother to help me.


I finally had to delete that Yahoo acct and start a new one.


It really sux because I had my old email acct for about 10 years.

I have no idea how spammers can do this, but they do!
