How do large companies send out millions of email in a day without them instantly going to the spam folder?

I am looking for a career change and was reading up on bulk email marketing for a particular job I am looking at. I am assuming that this would be done by a particular type of software. Does anyone know what type of software this would be so that I can read about it or if you know anything about the concept will you please share you experience.

Most companies are cheating when they send out millions of emails. The servers have them sign an agreement that they won't do this. So the companies are usually cheating since they promised they wouldn't do it.


The software they use allows them to "spoof" the server into thinking that the emails are coming from 100 different locations and computers. There is not one single company that is legally sending out millions of emails every day. Not one..
Reply:Bulk email marketing is generally done by specialized software. Most of this type of software is now web-based. The introduction of the CAN-SPAM Act means that it is illegal to send email that is not permission-based. So you need a reputable email service provider (sometimes called email marketing software). They generally charge a monthly subscription based on the number of contacts you are sending to.





You need to take into account the deliverablity rate of the supplier, as well as what other features they can help you with. I'd recommend trying out Contactology (www.contactology.com). Most email providers will allow you to have a free trial, so give it a try

Reply:They do it legally with mail servers and mail only to people that have opted into their lists. They also have commercial ISP's that don't restrict outgoing emails per month.
