How did this happen, received a email spam selling viagra &other drugs supposedly from me how did they do that

i got this email selling viagra and other drugs via interest pharmacy and get this i supposedly have sent it myself. now how the heck did this happend. you know these spammers managed to get of my address, and now are they able to use my address and send spam throughout the world using my address as if i am the one selling these prescription fake drugs.

Spamers are able to send email with the from info spoofed using SMTP ( Simple Mail Transfer Protocol ) programs, thay can allso spoof recevers and the date info.





Do the folowing:


1. Note the email address of the spammer.


2. Copy it on notepad.


3. In yahoomail, click on options on the top right corner.


4. Click on Block addresses once the options page opens.


5. Paste the email address of the spammer in the box provided.


6. Click on block address.


7. After this all messages marked as spam will go in to your bulk folder.





And if you dont want the spam messages to go in to your bulk folder do the folowing.


1. In yahoomail, click on options on the top right corner.


2. Click on Spam Protection once the options page opens.


3. On the Spam Filter Tab mark Immediately delete these messages upon receipt.





Report such a mail to:

Treasury Department 419.fcd@usss.treas.gov
Reply:Its seems your system is infected with trojan or virus. And this is sending spam emails.








Download ad-aware or spybot search and destroy to clean the trojans





Also, download avg anti-virus and check for viruses.





Try to boot your OS in safe mode, and check for trojans and viruses.
