About the last week the email spam filter has failed on emails that are clearly spam. Was wondering if yahoo email has done something different since the new year.
Why has yahoo email spam filter failed lately?
If the sender was using a valid Yahoo! mail address and not sending bulk, the spam filter won't filter it out until that person has been added to the spam list (and account removed). There are other ways of someone to get past the spam filter, but if you get a lot of spam try clicking on the Options link in the upper right corner of the page. There will be an option there to edit your spam filter and set the level to high to filter out all possible spam.
Reply:I still think its pretty good, but I do agree lately it has been missing a few.
