Someone has stolen my yahoo email address and is sending me spam from it.How can I stop this please? Edward?

I'm worried they might be sending spam to others using my email address, which I've had for years now and don't really want to use another.

This is happening to many others at this time, it's a trick of the spammers to get you to open it and or spam it, then you would be blocking your own address. Never mark them as spam, just delete them if in the inbox, if in the spam bin, just empty it. It seems to be in full force now, it will pass, I had some also, my heart sank, then I realized they were not real.
Reply:I say call yahoo if you can and if you can't create a new yahoo account. But if you don't want to do that just change your password. also if you have your own personal laptop create a really complicated password and tape it to the laptop. GOOD LUCK!!
Reply:you should definitely change your password, and inform your friends that your email adress is being hacked into,so they don't think it's you.
Reply:change your password but to have a password no 1 can hack into put two numbers in the start and 3 at the end
