Yahoos Mobile site states this:
"Stay connected with Yahoo! Mail on your BlackBerry smartphone. Everything you do with your Yahoo! Mail on your PC, you can do right on your smartphone.Keep in touch with friends and family; wherever and whenever."
Well it says that, but can't mark emails as spam.

You are correct. You won't be able to mark messages as SPAM on the BlackBerry and have that rule saved to Yahoo! mail using regular push e-mail. If you install Yahoo! Go then you may be able to do that.
